when I was younger, I aspired to be everything from a princess to a pirate to an English major when I grew up. I ended up becoming a nerdy musical theatre major who corrects dangling prepositions mid-sentence and thinks she was probably a pirate in a past life. (thankfully, I gave up on the princess part.) I live my life for God, bake cupcakes to relieve stress, read Victorian literature by candlelight and with tea within arm’s reach, and smile more than should be humanly possible. I have, I think, an old soul and a young mentality—or, less dramatically, maybe I’m just trying to balance growing up and staying a child at heart.
my obsessions include (but are certainly not limited to!): theatre, cupcakes, music of all kinds (especially metal/symphonic metal), grammar, classic lit, Neil Gaiman, anything vintage, flowers, memes (love ALL the memes!), the color coral, books, prose, Disney, candles, light, video games, baby animals, Harry Potter, and all manner of pretty or intriguing or inspirational things. women I deeply admire and try to emulate are Julie Andrews, Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, JK Rowling, and Florence Welch. I’m also probably destined to be a crazy cat lady someday.
